Miranda Makaroff (1984, Spain) is known for her colored paintings, affirming the need to use it as a tool for deconstruction of happiness and express the essence of the human being.

The artist conceives new ways to activate and elaborate on the portrayal of Humanity. Replete with complexities, realness, abjection, beauty, complications, everydayness, and joy, her works shows how human share their way of being in the world.

Her work recognizes humanistic perspectives introduced as a theater where the visitors are invited to play and put themselves in each character.

Miranda built and deconstructed the myths while using symbols as Women, Geishas,... How human beings are capable of desperately searching for a role to feel identified with and just for doing that we get away from our conscience.
